HModEx®

HModEx®:The Open Exchange for Open Source Health Economic Models

Rethinking How the Healthcare Industry Shares Evidence

Every year, over $1 billion is spent globally on Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), much of it duplicating work that’s already been done. Models built to support drug pricing, access, and reimbursement decisions are often kept private, wasting valuable time and resources.

What We’re Building

HModEx® (Health Model Exchange) is a new platform that will change the way the healthcare world collaborates. It will offer:

Why It Matters

HModEx® will support better, faster decision-making for:

By making models open, trusted, and easy to reuse, HModEx® supports a more transparent and cost-effective healthcare system, particularly in high-cost areas like oncology.

Project Status

HModEx® is funded by a federal grant and is currently submitting for Phase II, following the successful completion of Phase I. We’ve now built a functioning in collaboration with developers of the Tufts CEVR Open-Source Model Clearinghouse and an international panel of expert advisors that we will unveil in a workshop during the upcoming ISPOR (Philadelphia, May 17-20) and SMDM (Oslo, June 29, 11:20am-12:20pm EDT). We will have laptops for hands-on experience. Contact us (below) for a demo and to sign up for your own HModEx™ account!
